This is a dishtowel that I cut from a large thrifted blanket. There are three designs in the works, and this is the first- the little worm that tells you to eat dirt.

I just whipped up this marker case, basically for free! Fused plastic bags and a reclaimed jeans zipper.
I re-did the binding on my new art journal, and I’m determined to.. do stuff with it I guess. I haven’t written in a journal for a long time, since all I seem to write are to-do lists, but hopefully I will find neat/meaningful things to capture in this journal.
This isn’t a pic of the journal btw, it’s just a mixed media piece I did that sums up how I face a blank page.
This is what I actually made today.
I’ve been inspired to try and keep an art journal again. I don’t think I ever had much of one, and it’s been a long time since I’ve kept a writing journal as well, but I took the time today and made a special journal just for me. The binding isn’t the best and I might end up modifying it, but we’ll see how it goes.
On top of the art journal are two tiny notebook pendants fashioned out of metal and paper. The reporter-style one is my favorite although the craftsmanship is admittedly amateur—solder everywhere! Oh noes!! Call the jewelry police!
